This design is based on the P-39 Airacobra (serial number 42-20746) nicknamed “Old Crow” flown by General Clarence “Bud” Anderson of the 363rd Fighter Squadron, 357th Fighter Group. General Anderson was an American fighter ace with 16 ¼ victories. He flew combat missions in WWII in the P-39, the P-51 Mustang and also in Vietnam flying the F-105 Thunderchief. He retired from the Air Force in 1972 as a Colonel having been awarded during his service the Legion of Merit x 2, Distinguished Flying Cross x 5, Bronze Star and 16 x Air Medals and many more.
