This design is inspired by the Spitfires of 443 Squadron RCAF during World War II.  443 Squadron was a Canadian fighter squadron formed during World War II as part of the Royal Canadian Air Force's contribution to the war effort. Initially established in 1942, it was part of the 2nd Tactical Air Force and flew the Spitfire. The squadron played a significant role in various campaigns, including D-Day and the subsequent Allied advance through Europe. They provided crucial air support, including ground attacks and escort missions, contributing to the overall success of the Allied forces in Europe.
